Slow Food Trentino Alto Adige APS

Slow Food Trentino Alto Adige APS organizes numerous activities and projects to define the core values of Slow Food on its territory. It is a worldwide known environmental association represented in more than 160 countries. Since the beginning, almost 40 years ago, it’s working to promote the good, clean and fair food.

Today Slow Food struggles there can’t be an ecological transition without reinventing an existing model of food production and distribution, especially in mountain areas.

The role of Slow Food Trentino Alto Adige APS is to connect different stakeholders of the food system and local networks; organize educational processes; protect biodiversity through specific projects; give more value and attention to small businesses and producers; implement and promote new forms of Slow Tourism with emphasize on local communities; to defend the gastronomic culture and customs.
